An illustrated overview of marine life around the Poor Knights Islands in New Zealand, including various bird species like Bellbird, Blue Penguin, Puffin, Tuatara, Humpback Whale, Killer Whale, Whale Shark, and Dolphins, along with sea creatures such as the Red Crowned Parakeet, Buller's Shearwater, Black Coral, and others, set against a blue ocean background with coral and underwater plants.

Created as part of my final-year design project, this illustrated children’s non-fiction book explores places across Aotearoa New Zealand. With a shift in global attention spans, the aim was to design a book that could compete with all things digital. Using hand painted illustrations with bright colours, engaging visuals, and interactive features such as fold out flaps to engage audiences of all ages.
